How to use Granted Rights filters

This guide is for any user who has access to agreements. It explains how to filter the Granted Rights on an agreement by brand, category, channel, territory, or language, how to search by name, and how the filters combine.

Before you start

Granted Rights filters live on the agreement's Granted Rights tab, so open the agreement first. Any user who has access to agreements can use these filters.

Filtering only changes what you see on screen; it does not change or delete any Granted Rights. You can reset the filters at any time to see the full list again.

What the Granted Rights filters do

The filters narrow the list of Granted Rights on an agreement so you can find the ones you need. Granted Rights are defined by their brands, product categories, channels, territories, and languages, and you can filter on any of these.

There is also a Search box that finds a Granted Right by its name. You can use the filters and the search together  the search runs on top of whatever the filters have narrowed down.

Filter Granted Rights by brand, category, channel, territory

Start from the agreement's Granted Rights tab.

1. Open the filter panel on the Granted Rights tab.Select values under any of Brands, Categories, Channels, Territories. You can pick more than one in each.
2. Click Apply filter.
3. The list updates to the Granted Rights that match. Your choices appear as chips under Filtered by.

How the filters combine

The filters combine in two ways, and knowing this helps you predict the results:

• Across different filters, results must match all of them. If you filter by a brand and a territory, you'll see only Granted Rights that have that brand and that territory.
• Within one filter, results match any value you pick. If you pick two territories, you'll see Granted Rights that have either territory.

For example, filtering Brands = Northstar and Territories = Sweden, Finland shows Granted Rights that include the Northstar brand and cover Sweden or Finland.

Search for a Granted Right by name

Start from the agreement's Granted Rights tab.

1. Type part of the Granted Right's name in the Search box.
2. The list narrows to matching names, with the closest matches first  an exact name match ranks above a name that starts with your text, which ranks above a name that only contains it.
3. To go back to the full list, clear the search box.

Search works on the Granted Right name only. To narrow by brand, category, channel, territory, use the filters instead.

Clear or change your filters

Start from the agreement's Granted Rights tab.

1. To remove everything you've applied, click Reset filters. This clears the selected filters and the search box and shows the full list again.
2. To change a filter, open the filter panel, adjust the selected values, and click Apply filter again.

Your currently applied filters are shown as chips under Filtered by, so you can see what's narrowing the list.

Why a filter shows no results

If the list is empty after you apply a filter, it usually means one of two things:

• No Granted Right matches every filter you set. Because results must match all the different filters at once, combining several can narrow the list to nothing. Remove one filter and apply again.
• You clicked Apply filter without selecting anything. Select at least one value, or click Reset filters to show the full list.
