If you can't find the Submit New File button or don't see a submission slot for your royalty report, it usually means there isn't an open reporting period available for your agreement.
Why is this happening?
Royalty reports can only be submitted when your licensing partner has opened a reporting period for your agreement.
This commonly happens when:
- Your agreement has recently been extended or renewed.
- Your agreement has reached its end date and a new reporting period has not yet been created.
- The reporting period has not yet been opened by your licensing partner.
What should I see?
When a reporting period is open, you'll see an Open status and a Submit New File button next to the reporting period.
Example: Reporting period open
An open reporting period is ready to accept a royalty report.
If you don't see an Open reporting period or the Submit New File button, there isn't currently a reporting period available for submission.
Example: No reporting period available
No reporting periods are currently available for submission.
If you only see Closed reporting periods, those reporting periods have already been submitted and can no longer accept new royalty reports.
Example: Only closed reporting periods
Only previous reporting periods are displayed. A new reporting period must be opened before you can submit your next royalty report.
What should I do?
Please contact your licensing partner or brand representative and ask them to open the reporting period for the period you need to submit.
When reaching out, include the following information:
- Your company name
- The agreement name (if known)
- The reporting period you're trying to submit (for example, Q2 2026)
- A screenshot of the Royalty Reports page
Once your licensing partner has opened the reporting period, the Submit New File button and submission slot will appear automatically.
